Held at the prime Aeon Mall Phnom Penh, participants will register for their spot at one of the three Contest Cars at 9am.

Each of the Contest Cars bears 20 palm-print stickers with numbers. Each participant will pick a random number on a first-come-first-served basis to determine his/her Contest Car and assigned palm position. Conversely, if the participant picks a blank, he/she is eliminated from the challenge.

For the next eight hours (from 10am to 6pm), the 60 lucky contestants will demonstrate their endurance and agility in the 2023 Subaru Car Challenge. This year’s instalment challenges contestant with a demanding line-up of 12 elimination games that will span throughout the eight hours to determine the top five who will represent Cambodia in Singapore. Each of these exhilarating games has been designed to challenge both the physical and mental fortitude of the Contestants. These challenges, in turn, make for an engaging and enjoyable time for supporters and shoppers at the Aeon Mall.

The top five contestants from Cambodia will join local winners from the region in the thrilling finals of the Tan Chong Car Challenge scheduled for November 4 to 5, 2023, in Singapore at the iconic Ngee Ann City.

In July 2011, a partnership was established with Subaru Corporation (formerly known as Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd.) for the production of Subaru vehicles at a CKD assembly plant in Malaysia. On 8 February 2017, Subaru Corporation and TC Manufacturing and Assembly (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (TCMA TH), a wholly owned subsidiary of TCIL, entered into a joint venture – Tan Chong Subaru Automotive (Thailand) Ltd (TCSAT) – for the local assembly of Subaru vehicles in Thailand.
